Christian Marclay and Josiah McElheny at the Wexner

January 27, 2013

A real treat for contemporary art lovers–Christian Marclay and Josiah McElheny conversed about their work at the Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus.  The Wexner is featuring both artists in their winter exhibition series, with Marclay’s  highly praised film “The Clock” on view for the first time in Ohio, and McElheny’s series of work “Towards a Light Club,” a series of films, glass sculptures, performance, prints, and drawings based on the  1912 novella “The Light Club of Batavia,” by German expressionist writer Paul Scheerbart.
